She pondered for countless hours; still nothing made any sense to her. Kara stared at the mirror again. She sighed. She tried to whistle to ease her worries, but she never had been able to do that successfully. She pulled her long dark hair back and looked down at her white nightgown. She curtsied in front of the mirror and thought to herself that a prince will come along and save her, just like in the fairytales.
“….and it’s a wonderful d…ACK!”
Kara immediately let go of her hair, turned around and saw a silver butterfly crash into the wall behind her. Taking tiny steps, she approached the butterfly.
“Are you alright?” Kara asked, kneeling down with the butterfly in her palm.
“Oh yes, I’m fine, my dear,” replied the butterfly, while trying to flutter unsteadily.
A faint smile grew on Kara’s face. She was both shocked and amused by the butterfly. More amused than shocked actually, considering that a doorknob just spoke, so a talking butterfly was not all that peculiar anymore.
The silver butterfly landed on Kara’s head as Kara got up from her knees. Just as Kara was about to lay a hand on the butterfly, it flew to the other side of the room. Kara covered her view with her left hand as an intense light started to illuminate from the butterfly. She could see that something grew out from the butterfly. Something big. Something of human form.
“That was dramatic,” said the lady that grew from the butterfly.
Kara was dumbfounded. Her mouth was wide open, her eyebrows crooked, her head tilted slightly. She could have won ‘Retard of the Year’ award with that pose, if there was any. The lady kept on smiling and chuckled at Kara’s pose. Her silvery hair framed her face, highlighting her arched silvery eyebrows and piercing blue eyes.
“How did you… What are… Eh?” Kara could not complete her questions nor could she think exactly what to ask.
“You look troubled, my dear,” said the lady with a warm smile, taking a step closer to Kara.
With every step that the lady took, Kara took one step backwards, until finally she leaned on the mirror and transformed it to a complete wall. Kara looked around frantically. Every corner of the room is now a complete wall. She leaned back on the wall, breathed heavily, still was not sure whether the lady was human like her.
“I am Aislin. Lady Aislin from the House of Butterfly,” the lady introduced herself.
“I am Kara. Kara McAdams… from the… the…” Kara paused, unable to finish what she had to say.
“From the fourth dimension,” Lady Aislin continued for Kara, “the dimension where they have chocolates and candy floss.”
Kara nodded, unsure if the world that she used to live in was really The Fourth Dimension. If so, she thought, which dimension is this?
“Chocolates and candy floss,” Lady Aislin continued, “they’re so sweet!”
Kara was curious as to how Lady Aislin knew about chocolates and candy floss and asked if they do not get them in that dimension.
“My husband was sent to The Fourth Dimension two hundred years ago,” Lady Aislin said, “but he never did return. His followers returned with chocolates and candy floss for me which, as they said, were from my husband before he died.”
Kara felt sorry for the butterfly lady and wanted to ask how her husband died, but something held her from asking such question.
Out of nowhere, shadowy figures started to take form from each corner of the room. They emerged from the walls and gradually shaped into their own forms. They looked like a hybrid of two species-some animals and human. They all bowed to Kara and Lady Aislin immediately after they took their form.
“Ah! You all are finally here!” said Lady Aislin cheerfully, before her voice became deeper and darker. “Kara, do tell us, who are you and why are you here?”
Kara had never felt that uncomfortable before in her entire life. All eyes were on her. Lady Aislin’s soft and welcoming face transformed into a sharp and firm face. She repeated her question, with a firmer tone and slightly louder voice.
“… Ka… Kara…”
Still, Lady Aislin repeated her question and was not satisfied with Kara’s answer.
Just as things were starting to get intense, another figure emerged from the wall, taking the shape of a hybrid of a cat and a human form.
“Saoirse! Princess Saoirse! I knew you would return! I knew you would not break your promise of a hundred year!” The cat-human ran towards Kara and embraced her.

1-Mystic Wall
“It ends here… now…”
Kara threw herself off the cliff where she stood, putting everything that she had ever cared to the back of her mind. She was tired of everything that she had been through, tired of being an outcast, tired of being called a freak. Tears began to shed and fade with the wind as she flew off the cliff. Her whole life seemed to be replayed before her. Joy, sorrow and rage. She muttered a word of help, but she knew it was too late.
Until…
A light…
A figure…
She gasped as that was all that she could do when a beam of light which took shape of a familiar figure saved her from hitting the ground, only to black out seconds after from the intensity of the light.
Moments after, she woke up in an unfamiliar room. Too unfamiliar that it scared her, making her jump of the bed that she was in. Walking around in circles, like an imbecile trying to find a corner in a perfectly round room, she pondered emptily. Just as she was about to let out a scream of both fear and frustration, she heard footstep and voices down the corridor.
She then reached towards the door trying to eavesdrop the conversation that she heard faintly. However, they seem to be talking in a language that she could not understand. It was not of any language that she knew. Picking up every single bit of courage left within her, she tried to turn the doorknob to see who is on the other side.
“Only those who are pure can pass, your tarnished soul must be cleansed, show us that you are worthy of our trust, and you might be accepted to join our clan”
“A talking doorknob?!?!”
Kara was surprised by what she heard. Even more surprised when the door began to fade away, slowly transforming itself into a wall, inch by inch. Kara jumped back. She didn’t know whether to cry, as she always does, or whether to scream, also as she always does. She tried to sustain her sanity and looked around the room, only to see a silver butterfly flying outside the window.
With her curiosity already taking charge of her, she walked towards the open window, which opened itself as Kara came closer to it. She tried to reach out for the silver butterfly, but was immediately distracted as she saw the view from where she stood. She was amazed by how familiar yet unfamiliar the view was to her-sparkling blue lake, golden grass, all the silvery insects and colourful plants, a maiden…
A Maiden?
“Hey!” Kara shouted with excitement and hope that the person she saw was real.
Unfortunately, she seemed to get no response from the lady by the lake. She tried to call out to her again. But, as she leaned her body towards window sill, just like the door, it began to fade away from each corner. Kara retreated. She was not sure how to feel as of that moment, but she did begin to comprehend some things.
She thought it would be interesting to see how many things she could transform into a section of a wall so she leaned herself towards every single things that was nailed or built in with the ‘original’ walls. She found them astonishing. She felt as if she had powers to transform mere things into bricks.
It was not longer than a few minutes when she realised that her sanity is fading away and that she had lost control of herself and that made she feel powerful. She looked around the room only to find herself trapped in an empty space. She tried to look at every inch of the room again, and found that there she had yet to lean on the mirror that was on the wall but she did not want to transform that into a wall. Instead, she walked towards it, looked at her reflection and asked herself numerous questions.
“Where am I? Why is everything turned into walls?”
“Why was the butterfly so… so… beautiful?”

A new beginning
I have decided to create a blog page under Blogspot.. Have closed down my Friendster blog for some reasons, still have my LiveJournal page but hardly update anything there.. Actually that's one of the reasons why I shut down my Friendster blog page-too lazy to write.
Anyhoos..
This blog will be mostly based on my writings (stories, poems, quotes).. Haven't wrote anything in such a long while so really I'm hoping that I have yet to lose any of my skills, if I had any in the first place.
Once in a while, I might post some of my usual rants and such.. But considering on my current situation, they will mostly be general cussing on the school I attend.
Comments are always welcomed..
*thinks on what else to write*
Considering that I'm an extremely good procrastinator, do not count on me updating this post regularly..
If I happen to be idle for about two month, remind me that I actually have this page to update and take care of, because I tend to forget about these things..
That's all for now
